I have a problem
Yes, it is. Kind of an additional protection layer from minors.
However you can go to game settings and disable the censorship.
All your actions have different intensity. Start from lighter toys and progress to harder ones. Complains mean you’re out of her tolerance window. If so, try doing slower, take a smaller toy or adjust the intensity. ‘Nothing’ means the opposite – effect is too weak in her current state.
Most traits affect that tolerance, buffing it for +20%, +50%, -20% etc. But the core mechanic remains unchanged – player has to match their partner’s needs.
To make it easier you can go to game settings and turn on ‘Show the detailed stats’ if it’s off – it visualizes the tolerance in UI making it easier to manage things.
Unfortunately, as a solo developer I can not guarantee it works on all devices. But without any details I won’t be able to even imagine what’s going wrong.
The most general advice is: close the game and try again. Note that the first loading in a browser might take a while, as the whole game is downloaded to your device. If nothing helps, see the ‘I want to report a bug’ section below.
You can report problems on Discord or in the itch.io comments. By creating a detailed report you are definitely helping the game to become better. You have my thanks for that!
Please include:
- What exactly went wrong,
- Steps to make it happen again,
- What you expected,
- What happened instead and how often it happens,
- Your system info (browser version or downloadable, device (if mobile), browser (if web), OS, OS version, game version).
Adding screenshots or video and a log file will help a lot.
- Log file (Windows): %UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\KitOlmek\My Jazzy Lolly Crush\Player.log
- Log file (Linux): ~/.config/unity3d/KitOlmek/My Jazzy Lolly Crush/Player.log
- Log file (MacOS): ~/Library/Logs/KitOlmek/My Jazzy Lolly Crush/Player.log
- For browsers, open the browser console and copy its contents.
For example:
The game crashes after starting. Everything loads fine, when I click the purple ‘Enjoy’ button, the game hangs. Happens like once a day, works fine after reloading the web page. I’m playing on itch.io,v 1.4 with Birthday event, Chrome (latest version), Windows 10.
Unfortunately, your browser has overcomplicated security limitations. So you’re limited to only cloud slots. Or you can go to browser settings and uncheck ‘Prevent cross-site tracking’ option to get the full-working saves.

I am patron…
Compared to the public version, Dandies’ one includes additional clothes and customization options. Some of these could be temporarily available to the public as event or seasonal items, but Dandies have the full access to it all the year. Also Dandies have access to major releases 1-2 weeks earlier. However to keep things exclusive for patrons this version is available only as a web-release (browser only, no actual downloadables included).
The main bonus of Collectionists’/Beta version is that it handles the ‘work in progress’ state of the game. This means each major new feature is added to Beta once it’s finished. When all planned features are done and properly tested the release to Dandies’ version happens. This also means Beta might contain minor bugs uncaught through the primary testing. To compensate for this, a few more exclusive items are available on Beta only. The same as Dandies’ version, this is available only as a web-release.
Unfortunately itch.io interface is a bit confusing, pushing new players to downloads instead of the game page, so new people ask about this quite often. But Beta and Early Access versions are browser-only to protect the extended contents, no download is available. After adding it to your library you can access those from their pages:
- https://kitolmek.itch.io/myjlc-patreon for Early Access,
- https://kitolmek.itch.io/myjlc-beta for Beta.
Meantime public release includes downloadable .exe and .apk files, but no additional contents.
When looking at Patreon polls you see the flat votes, meaning everyone from a random visitor to a long-term patron adds +1 to the counter. So to give it more sense the final voting results are re-calculated in a spreadsheet using the ‘voting power’, which is proportional to patrons’ total pledge. Also if you vote for multiple options at once your ‘power’ is split between your choices. This way there is some additional strategic element when applying your vote and people who support MyJLC for longer have more influence.
Each release I start with a few features needed as a part of my global plan. Then I begin to build things from the winners list from the highest to lowest score until ‘Ah, players are waiting for too long, it’s time to release!’
Note that my bucket list is much longer than Patreon technically allows, so I’m trying to provide some rotation of features, putting the least voted things on cooldown.
I want…
MyJLC is developed, drawn and animated by 1 person. I’m doing my best to make this game unique and the highest possible quality. Unfortunately all testing, reworking and polishing to achieve that takes time. However I hope it’s worth it and that’s why thousands of players like this game.
The average time between updates appears to be around 3 months for now. Each time I try to make it shorter it appears to be too challenging. However, patrons can access new features sooner: EA version is available 2 weeks before the public release and Beta is updated after each major feature is finished.
This is a very popular request. However MyJLC was designed as a mix of simulator and dress up. It’s a highly interactive 2D game with a large amount of customization. It includes thousands of sprites and hundreds of animations for now. As you see I was trying to get the most from a single pose.
Unfortunately, adding more poses on practice means remaking all game assets from scratch for each one. And it’s very time-consuming to achieve the same level of details for multiple scenes. This way, I consider it possible somewhere in the far future, but it’s the lowest priority feature for now. Also I have a separate post about that.
One more quite popular question, so let me answer it here separately.
First, we have chosen realism as the main direction. So fictional futas with multiple genitals are out of the game concept. Though shemales or femboys have a chance.
Then, the game was not designed to support male anatomy and it will require major changes: completely different mechanics, new types of interactive zones, new animations, alternative sprites for many clothes and a new compatible set of toys. Then new personalities with thousands of text lines, new events… The full list is huge and it’s impossible to implement in one release period. This way we’re trying to separate it into smaller pieces to go for voting, to move the development into a certain direction, but that’s quite a long journey.
First of all, try to be a bit respectful. The developer doesn’t owe you. If you’d like to make a suggestion or request some new feature, please mind to say it politely.
Next, MyJLC was initially designed as a dress-up game about a fictional character, which was created as my, one man’s, personal fantasy. Everything you see on top of that was added later, thanks to a warm community support. And as a part of the community, you can always add your own suggestions to that list.
Sure, you’re welcome to suggest new things on Discord (preferrable) or in itch.io comments.
Every new idea goes to my list if it matches the game concept. Keep in mind the next:
- We play in a realistic setting. So no elves, demons and giant tentacles piercing the body. Though, elven ears can be a part of cosplay look, red skin – a body art, and human-compatible tentacles are usually made of silicon.
- Our players are of different age, experience and social groups, discovering new areas of their sexuality. We feel responsible for what we show them. So extreme fetishes and any things requiring strict safety instructions to use are filtered very meticulously.
- We depend on the Patreon and itch.io, so everything violating their policies is a ‘No-no’, even if it’s an innocent roleplay – that’s the harsh reality of modern Internet censorship.
- Some things are technically difficult to implement. This means that ‘heavy’ requests might lay in my table for a long time, until the conditions change or I get a genius idea of how to implement it better. Sorry, this game was initially designed as a dress up, not as ‘construct your alien and put it in 10 poses’ or something.
- Also, some requests might be inappropriate for me personally. I’m a humble human and everything you ask for should be done by my hands. And we don’t want me to hate what I’m doing, right?
For each release I rethink the collected ideas and filter the most interesting and realistic to implement right now. Then we run the voting with patrons to decide on the next features. This way people supporting the development can affect the game direction. I’ll be happy if you join us and support your favorite features as well.
I’d like to do it this way. However, from my point of view, I have hundreds of things to ‘do anyway asap’. Each one costs time (from days to weeks) and everyone wants to get releases faster, that’s why I can not simply implement everything I want. So voting is my attempt to balance this.
I know the game is not optimized for mobile use.
Historically, the android version was simply ported from Windows and released ‘as is’. Must say, I never expected that we’ll get more mobile than desktop users, but that’s where we are.
We’re keeping that in mind when developing new features, but, in an ideal world, the whole mobile UI should be redesigned. Though, everyone around prioritizes adding new features over the mobile adaptation, so we’re kind of stuck with it for now.
Unfortunately, Apple made a decision to make their ecosystem very unfriendly for the developers from outside. So I doubt we’ll get a dedicated iOS version in future.
